Big Update on Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana:
PM Modi’s office confirmed Wednesday that the Tenth installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme will be released on 1 January 2022.
Additionally, the PMO added that the 10th installment will enable the payment of more than Rs 20,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary families.
Approximately Rs. 1.6 lakh crore has been transferred to farmer families through this scheme, according to the PMO.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible farmer families are being provided with a financial benefit of Rs 6000 per year, distributed in three installments of Rs 2000 every four months.
Directly from the Centre, the money is transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Under this scheme, over Rs. 1.6 lakh crore has been transferred to farmer families so far.
More than 1.24 lakh farmers will benefit from PM Modi’s equity grant of more than Rs 14 crore to about 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
Moreover, PM Modi will also meet with FPOs during the event, as well as address the nation.
