1. SI (master)
- 10+2 or it’s equivalent from a recognized Board or University, as well as
- The Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or the Mercantile Marine Department issues a Second-Class Master Certificate.
2. SI (Engine Driver)
- 10+2 or it’s equivalent from a recognized Board or University, as well as
- The Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or the Mercantile Marine Department issues a First-Class Engine Driver Certificate.
3. SI(Workshop)
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable university or
- an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution, and
- obtain a three-year diploma in mechanical, marine, or automobile engineering.
4. HC(Master)
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board Certificate from Serang.
5. HC (Engine Driver)
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board
- Having a second-class engine driver’s license.
6. HC (Workshop)
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board
- Industrial Training Institute Diploma from a recognized institution in respective trade (i.e., Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) Machinist/Carpentry/ Electrician/ Air conditioner Technician/Electronics and Plumbing).
7. CT (Crew)
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board
- one year of experience operating a boat with less than 265 horsepower and
- Should be capable of swimming in deep water without assistance and will submit an undertaking certificate in the form of Annexure ‘D-1’ with the application.
